Clinician well-being

Burnout rarely shows up in a report until it is already expensive. When therapists are stretched thin by documentation and caseloads, clients feel it, and practices lose the clinicians they can least afford to lose. Find honest guidance on sustainable caseloads, lighter admin work, and keeping great people in the work they chose.

What the data says about clinician well-being

For our Practice Success report, we asked more than 1,100 therapists about workload, support, and burnout. Owners and clinicians are telling two different stories.

58% of owners say formal after-hours policies exist, compared with 37% of clinicians.

Half of owners say regular caseload reviews happen. Only 30% of clinicians agree.

Thriving practices are more likely than struggling ones to review workload on a regular basis, 48% versus 34%.
