Michael Martens

EVP, Chief Financial Officer  

Michael Martens is a seasoned finance executive with three decades of experience building high-performing finance organizations across SaaS, fintech, healthcare IT, biotech, and telecom. His leadership spans the full arc of value creation, including operational scale, M&A execution, finance infrastructure, and exit readiness, with more than $2 billion in closed transactions to his name. 

Michael’s roots in healthcare IT run deep. He led international finance at Cerner during its acute care EMR buildout and served as CFO of Mediware, now WellSky. Most recently, Michael served as CFO of VelocityEHS, where he led finance, accounting, legal and compliance. Throughout his career, he has led transformation in both public companies and private equity-backed environments. 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa.
