Ensai Session Assistant: for the session itself
Ensai Session Assistant is the capability most people picture first: hit record, and it listens to the session with consent from both you and your client. When the session ends, a draft note is waiting: you review it, edit what needs editing, and sign it. On TheraNest, Ensai Session Assistant also includes AI Case Summaries, which instantly summarizes a client’s full case history, drawn from their signed documentation, so you can walk into a session prepared or pick up care for a client another therapist has been seeing. That capability is coming to Fusion this fall.
If you already know this feature as AI Session Assistant, nothing about your subscription changes. The name in your product updates to Ensai Session Assistant this fall.
Ensai Notes Enhancement: for the note you already wrote
Ensai Notes Enhancement doesn’t record anything, and it isn’t listening to a session. It picks up after you’ve already documented a visit by hand (maybe because a client declined recording) and turns your draft into cleaner, more complete documentation in a click. You keep full authorship and clinical judgment. Ensai just tightens up what you already wrote.
Ensai Notes Enhancement is free and available now on TheraNest. It arrives on Fusion this fall.
Ensai Support: for everything else
Ensai Support doesn’t touch your notes at all. It’s a free chat assistant built into your platform that answers routine product questions instantly, so you’re not filling out a contact form just to ask something simple. Ask how to set up a new payer or add a clinician, and the answer comes back drawn only from product documentation. It never opens a client record to do it, and if it can’t resolve what you’re asking, you get a live support agent, the same as always.
Ensai Support is free on every plan. It’s available now on Fusion, with a new experience coming to TheraNest this fall.
The same trust rules apply to all three
However you’re using Ensai, whether Ensai Session Assistant is drafting a note in real time, Ensai Notes Enhancement is cleaning up a note you wrote by hand, or Ensai Support is answering a quick question, the ground rules don’t change. No session is recorded without consent from both you and your client. Client PHI is never used to train AI models. That’s a fixed policy. Every note stays a draft until you sign it, and Ensai Support only ever draws from product documentation, never your client records.
