Ensora Health Appoints John Damgaard as CEO
Industry Veteran to Lead Company’s Next Phase of Growth as a Leading Solution Provider in Behavioral Health
Boston, MA (August 4, 2025) – Ensora Health, a leading provider of software and services for mental, behavioral, and rehabilitative health therapists, today announced that John Damgaard will succeed Jeff Shoreman as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Shoreman is stepping down and will continue supporting the business on an interim basis to help ensure a smooth transition.
Damgaard brings extensive experience as a tech-savvy healthcare software leader with a track record of exceptional value creation. John serves on the Board of VelocityEHS, an industry-leading enterprise SaaS company whose platform is used by more than 10 million users worldwide, where he previously served as CEO. John also serves on the Boards of SiteImprove, and TrueContext. Prior to VelocityEHS, John was CEO of MatrixCare, a Best-in-KLAS SaaS platform in post-acute care, and COO of Mediware (now WellSky). Damgaard has also served as a Senior Advisor to CVC Capital Partners and Waud Capital Partners.
