Dr. Doug Nemecek

Dr. Doug Nemecek brings extensive expertise in behavioral health and healthcare innovation to his role as an advisory board member at Ensora Health. As the chief medical officer for behavioral health at Evernorth, he leads key initiatives, including Cigna’s national coverage policy team and efforts to manage medical cost drivers.
Previously, Dr. Nemecek served as executive medical director for Allina Behavioral Health Services, overseeing multiple clinics, mental health units, and providers. With over a decade of clinical psychiatric practice, he combines hands-on experience with strategic leadership.
Dr. Nemecek holds an MD from Washington University, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. A member of the Shatterproof Scientific Board, he is dedicated to advancing mental health solutions that align with Ensora Health’s vision for transformative care.
